Title : Property rights, transaction costs and development

This lecture will present the determinants of property rights to land, particularly the economic determinants. It will focus on the impact of property rights to land and will demonstrate the tenancy through endowments and their impact on supervision costs, enforcement costs, risk, agricultural distress and government policies, then it will examine land reform.
